That Iranian Guy

Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is a smart and nice man. He ha said publically, numerous times, that Islam will conquer the great of evils known as Isreal and America. He has explicitly stated that Isreal should be wiped off the face of the erath, that Jews shoul;d all be exterminated, and so on. He has further forbidden Western music (which has already been in place for decades), literature, and art in his country because it is contrary to Islamic principles; he has purged the universities of anyone who doesn't agree with his theo-political viewpoint; he has imprisoned students who protested his actions; he had a "panel of experts" investigate whether the Holocaust took place and concluded that it is just a big Zionist lie and a "myth", to which he further reiterated that Isreal should be destroyed. He then went on to try and back track alittle saying that he does no whether or not it occured or to what extent it occured, but that if the Holocaust did occur, European countries should make amends to the Jewish people by giving them a state of their own in Europe and not letting the innocent people of Palestine suffer any longer. You know, those innocent people in Palestine who suicide bomb buses full of school-children and blow up shopping markets, murdering truely innocent people. How he can deny such an event, an event well-established as a fact, it incredible. To deny the Holocaust you must be blinded by racism and entirely a gullible idiot because the conspiracy theories you'll have to believe in to deny the fact of the Holocaust are, frankly, so far fetched, so absurd, your cognitive faculties would have to be dysfunctional to believe that crap.

He continues to threaten to use force against the United States and Isreal if he is not allowed to pursue his nuclear program. Evidence has recently arisen that he took part heavily in the 1979-1981 Iran Hostage Crisis and assassinated Kurdish leaders in Austria. He openly promotes terrorism against Isreal and the United States, praising both Hamas and Hezbollah, as well as the 9/11 hijackers. He is known to torturing political prisoners and arresting persons for arbitrary reasons.

He is a fanatic follower of the even more fanatic Muslim cleric, Nawab Safavi, who has assassinated people--historian and author Ahmed Kasravi-- for "insulting Islam."He encourages all followers of Allah to take similar action against those who "insult Islam." Do you know what it means to insult Islam according to this guy? Well, I'm not exactly clear on it, but I bet it probably involves denying the truth of Islam, at the very least. He's a nice man too.

Now we are considering a show of force against Iran in the form of adding more aircraft carriers to the Persian Gulf region. This guy is going to cause a war much greater than what is going on now. We should take this guy at his word because I'm sure he means all those things he says. He is in a nice facist tradition of maniacs who tell you ahead of time what their plans are--Hitler did it in mein Kamp and numerous radio interviews--and now this guy is basically doing the same thing.

One benefit of his big mouth is that, unlike the brilliance of Hitler (which this guy possesses none of), everytime he opens it, he loses credibility. Even the most liberal of American pundits have their stomach turned when some moron says that the Holocaust never happened. If this guy had any support from liberals in America, he is quickly losing them with his extremist talk. He may be following in the rhetorical footsteps of Hitler, but he'll never persuade anyone like little Adolph did.

I do think, nonetheless, that this fool can start a war that will essentially create WWIII. So, let's recap: A guy who is an Islamic fundamentalist who is pursuing a nuclear arms program (to which the Russians are in full support [figures]), and who openly speaks about destroying America and Isreal. Hmmmmm? HMMMMMMMMMM? Does it take a rocket scientist (they really arn't as smart as everyone thinks the are)?
